How to get connected?

Eligibility Check

Before considering a connection to FNC-IX, it’s essential to perform an eligibility check to ensure a seamless experience. This check involves reviewing and fulfilling the technical prerequisites:

  • Verify that you have the necessary networking equipment compatible with FNC-IX infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with our IP and routing standards to maintain network stability and security.
  • Adhere to BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) and security guidelines to enhance your peering experience.

Membership Registration

If you meet the technical requirements and are ready to enhance your network connectivity, the next step is to register as an FNC-IX member. Becoming a member comes with several valuable benefits:

Connection Setup

To become a valued member of the FNC-IX community, it is essential to adhere to guidelines that foster a harmonious and efficient peering environment.
  • Members are required to possess and announce their own IPv4 subnet (≥ /24) and IPv6 subnet (≥ /48), along with their own Autonomous System Number.
  • Members must exclusively use their allocated IP subnets and refrain from any IP address spoofing.
  • Providing complete and accurate information during the registration process is mandatory to uphold transparency and accountability
  • Respect for FNC-IX community guidelines, fellow members, and adherence to applicable laws are fundamental principles for all members.
